Normally, people believe that they need a very smooth surface to ride a skateboard. However, a silky ground can cause skaters to slip away at any time. What they truly need is a surface that is smooth but with textures that can provide grip and prevent slipping. Just as we need an accelerator, we also need a brake. The world is full of duality and paradox.
